Hookscrap Soundtrack

I was recruited by a game development team called Surprise Studios to work on a game called Hookscrap, as they were looking for additonal composers. I joined the because I wanted more experience composing for actual games.

Mudstep, who was already on the team, was arranging the songs using virtual chiptune instruments that were fitting of the games style and feel. So I composed 3 songs with this in mind, and focused on the core melodies and theme of the songs.
It took me about 2 days of on and off work for each song to reach a level I was happy with. I learned more about composition and mixing the more I worked on these songs, and the more I hit road blocks. The end results, with the help of Mudstep, are something I can say I'm proud of.
As of writing this the tracks are unreleased and will become public on the 26th of April.
